“The small crossing” 8 days / 7 nights

The package ”Small crossing” includes : • Meet&Greet and Assistance at the Airport • Detailed documentation and IGN Hiking map • Hotelstay 5 nights on Bed&Breakfast basis * Mountain Hut stay 2 nights on Halfboard basis (dormitories). • All private Transfers as per programm

Day 1 Saint Gilles les bains Meet&Greet + Assistance at the Apt, handover of the documents, briefing and transfer to Saint Gilles. Possibility to buy the Pique nique for the coming hiking days! Overnight at the Hotel Alamanda or Las Filaos on BB.

Day 2 La Nouvelle Early departure by transfer to the “ Le Bélier”. (Leave main baggage at the Hotel) Easy hiking to the Col des Boeufs and down to La Nouvelle (5 to 6h). Creole dinner and overnight at the mountainhut in La Nouvelle. (dormitory) There exists a shop for getting some provisions for the next day.

Day 3 Marla Hiking (2 to 4h according to the chosen itinerary) into Mafate to the Hut Marla where they will have dinner and stay overnight. (dormitory)

Day 4 Cilaos Hiking up to Cilaos via the “Col de Taïbit”(7 to 8h). Overnight at the charming Hotel Le Vieux Cep on BB.

Day 5 Cilaos All day for discovering the beautiful mountain climate and the thermal springs of the cirque of Cilaos. Overnight stay at the Vieux Cep on BB.

Day 6 Cilaos - Saint Gilles Transfer from Cilaos to the west coast of the island. Overnight at the hotel Alamanda or the Hotel Residence Les Filaos on BB where you will find the main baggage.

Day 7 Saint Gilles Day at leisure. There are many activities and restaurants at walking distance ; the beach is nearby. Overnight stay at the hotel Alamanda or the Hotel Residence Les Filaos on BB basis. Day 8 Transfer to the airport for departure. NON ACCOMPAGNIED BY HIKING GUIDE - for good Hikers ! Day 5 Piton des Neiges/Cilaos Hiking Hut-Piton des Neiges-Cilaos : Overnight at the Vieux Cep on BB

Day 6 Cilaos Day at leisure in Cilaos. Possibility to relax and enjoy a thermal bath. Overnight at the Vieux Cep on BB

Day 7 Cilaos/Marla Hiking Cilaos-Marla Dinner and night at the Hut ”Marla”

Day 8 Marla/Roche Plate Hiking Marla-Roche Plate

Day 9 Roche Plate/Maido Hiking Roche Plate-Maido Transfer at 15h from the end of Mafate Hiking path to St Gilles where you will find your main luggage Overnight at the Hotel Alamanda or Filaos on BB
