DAY 1 : Arrive at Kamuzu International Airport,
Lilongwe, met and transfer by road to Livingstonia Beach, a transfer of approximately
1 hour 45 minutes - arriving in good time for an evening swim or sundowner before
dinner. This exclusive hotel is ideally sited on a one kilometre of superb golden
beach front with magnificent views across Lake Malawi. Livingstonia Beach offers
guests a tranquil environment with lush gardens and international standards of
accommodation while exploring the beauty of Lake Malawi. All rooms are tastefully

DAY 2 :
Morning - Enjoy a more relaxing morning at this great property. Relax on the golden
sands of Lake Malawi beach. A guide will be available should you wish to take
a short walk of the surrounding area or explore the nearby curio markets of Salima.
Afternoon - Take a deserved break from the lake and visit the Stewart M Grant
Tropical Fish Farm. This is a half day trip to a farm that has some of the many
unique and colourful fish species from Lake Malawi, that are exported to tropical
fish enthusiasts all over the world Dinner and overnight at Livingstonia Beach
DAY 3 : Take a day long trip to see something different at Chamare Museum
and Mua Mission. This is a jeep trip to a Malawian cultural and historical educational
centre. It's a road trip and driving time from Sunbird Livingstonia Beach is 45
minutes, one way. This area is historically important to the Chewa people as the
traditional home of the rain priestess who was worshipped in the nearby Kafulamai
Village. There is a Catholic Mission, which is run by the White Fathers, with
the main function of preserving the area, its people and their culture and the
surrounding flora and fauna, as close to its original state as possible. The mission
is particularly famous for its wooden carvings and artwork, which are made on
commission and displayed around the world. A visit to the mission wouldn't be
complete without visiting the Chamare Museum, which is a tribute to the Chewa
people and an illustration of their history. The church is unique and ranks as
the most unusual and famous in Malawi. Dinner and overnight Livingstonia Beach
DAY 4 : Depart Livingstonia Beach after breakfast directly to Lilongwe's
Kamuzu International Airport by road in time for departure with South African
