In Safari: Our
Great Honeymooner Safari is a wonderful and opulent Safari that has been packaged
with lots of romantic goodies. The itinerary takes you through the very best of
Masai Mara. Day
1. WELCOME TO THE MASAI MARA Depart Nairobi in the morning on Safari Link
for our short 40 minute flight to Masai Mara. On arrival into the Mara, we are
met at Livingstone Airstrip by our Masai Dancers followed by a Champagne Welcome.
After a prompt check in, you will enjoy a Tree planting ceremony where you will
plant a tree to signify your visit to the Masai Mara. Thereafter a delicious lunch
followed by some time to relax before your first evenign game drive. Return to
the lodge in the evening for some Sundowner Cocktails. Dinner followed by a Wildlife
Video Show followed by overnight at the lodge. Amenities included a Bottle of
Sparkling Wine, Fruits in your room and Choice South African Wine for dinner.
Day 2. THE MASAI MARA DISCOVERY A late rise followed by a Champagne Breakfast.
After breakfast we depart at 9.00 am with a complete picnic hamper for a full
day Safari to the Southern Mara. We will pass through Maternity and then down
the Musiara Plains into Rhino Ridge and Burrungat Plains. We cross the Mara River
and enjoy a delicious picnic luncheon by the Mara River at the Hippo Pools. Thereafter
we go through the Mara Triangle enjoying the game viewing sights as we climb the
Olooloo Escarpment where we will enjoy some Sundowners followed by our slow and
steady return to the Lodge. Sundowners include Bitings, Gin Tonics and Wine. This
evening you enjoy a Private Bush Dinner for 2 people served at our Hippo Camp
under the African Starlight Sky in the company of our Masai Warriors. Day
3. THE MASAI MARA A Prebreakfast game drive followed by a Champagne Breakfast
at the lodge. After breakfast, enjoy the David Livingstone’s Safari Walk where
you will enjoy an insight into the Flora and Fauna of our area. You will learn
about the medicinal value of our plants. The insects, the Birds of the Masai Mara
etc. Return to the lodge and enjoy a relaxing Aromatherapy Massage or an Egyptian
Foot Reflexology at our Massage Centre followed by lunch. Thereafter relax and
have a short siesta before your evening game drive. Day
4. THE MASAI MARA This morning enjoy a wonderful breakfast, followed by a
visit to the Masai Village and our Rhino Sanctuary. Thereafter enjoy a relaxed
morning. After lunch today, we enjoy a really different walking Safari where we
will walk from the lodge along the river down through the Great Savannah in the
company of our Masai Guides and armed rangers for 4 hrs from 2 pm to 6 pm. The
walk is slow and easy. It has as many stops as you like. Our Masai guides will
enlighten you with their great knowledge about the Fauna and Flora of our area.
On arrival at our meeting point, we toast our Safari with a bottle of Chilled
Champagne. Thereafter relax and enjoy a ride back to the lodge. Refresh and enjoy
a relaxing Private dinner by our pool side accompanied by a bottle of fine South
African wine. After dinner enjoy a night game drive. Overnight at the lodge Day
5. THE MASAI MARA AND HOMEBOUND A Prebreakfast game drive followed by a Champagne
Breakfast at the lodge. Return to the lodge thereafter for breakfast followed
by check out and departure by air back to Nairobi. KENYA
