Our thoughts after slogging through the umpteenth wedding planning book: "Hello? Do we all have to have exactly the same wedding!?" Information about less-traditional weddings is harder to come by. Our websites represent my desire to start putting that scarce info in one place. Make no mistake, we love traditional weddings, and believe tradition can provide some great guidance and add some real enrichment to your wedding. But tradition doesn't have to be a yoke around your neck. You can incorporate only those traditions that mean something to you, and then be a little creative for the rest. With its vivid and earth-tone colours, Le Dune boasts an enchanting fusion of Arabic and Italian décor, which offers a delightfully warm ambience. The magical combination is vibrant from every angle, from the aged wooden furniture shipped from Italy, the traditional terracotta flooring, and the Arabic lanterns that add to the rustic ambience. The open kitchen of the restaurant demonstrates the pizza Acrobatica, performed by our Italian chef, Biagio, and his team, baking pizzas in the traditional wood-fire oven. An exquisite antipasti buffet that reflects the finest selection of the region’s specialties is also available. The access to the pizzeria is via the Al Sarab roof top Lounge staircase or from the new Al Forsan restaurant. Featuring international fare, Executive Chef Monal has selected the finest specialties of diverse cuisines to provide you with a variety of choices. Take time to savour the Al Forsan signature dish; New Zealand roast rack of lamb, with baby asparagus and carrots, sun-blushed tomatoes, mashed potato and rosemary jus, and choose from the wide selection of freshly baked home-made bread in the traditional wood-fire oven.
